Paperio ("we," "us," or "our") operates paperio.com and provides AI-powered document conversion, turning photos, scans, and PDFs into Excel or Word files. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.
We collect the files you upload for conversion, your email address, and basic usage data such as pages visited. If you subscribe to a paid plan, our payment processor handles your billing details directly — we do not receive or store your full card number.
We use this information to convert your files and deliver them to you, manage your subscription if you have one, respond to your questions, and improve the product. We do not sell your information.
Uploaded files are processed with AI-assisted extraction, reviewed before your converted file is delivered, and automatically deleted within 30 days. We do not use your documents to train AI models beyond fulfilling your request.
We use trusted third-party service providers to help operate Paperio, including for file storage, email delivery, payment processing, and website analytics. These providers only receive the information necessary to perform their function and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including limiting access to authorized personnel. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You can request access to or deletion of your information at any time by contacting hello@paperio.com. We'll respond within 7 business days. Paid subscribers can also manage or cancel their subscription directly through the link in their billing emails.
Paperio is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
